Fall is here! Three cheers for Fall! Who does not love the season of autumn where everything smells like pumpkin spice and pumpkin beer? Well maybe people who don’t experience the changing of the seasons (sorry friends), but over here in Toronto we sure do get Autumn and I love everything about it.

For today’s post, I’m going to be sharing lots of different kinds of vintage advertising that represents Fall from the 1940s & 1950s. Let’s see what I found, shall we?

1950 Kraft’s Fall cheese fiesta vintage print ad.
OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS AD especially for the Velveeta (that was our special occasion cheese as a kid). A slice of cheese in apple pie is my mom’s go to topping and don’t get me started on cheese on top of cauliflower..YUM! Now I need some cheese.

One of the best parts of this chillier season is the changing of the leaves, they can be just stunning! As you can see in this 1950s vintage ad for visiting western North Carolina in the Fall.

In my eyes nothing says Fall / Autumn like pumpkin pie..yum! Especially since Canadian Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away. A 1951 Reddi-Wip print ad.

While not a vintage ad it was too cute to not share. A October 1968 ‘Jack and Jill’ Magazine for boys and girls featuring pumpkins, corn and chipmunks?? That last add on I don’t get. Do you?
