Back in 2016, I did a Vintage Photo Tuesday post featuring real life images of people from the 1920s-1950s posing with their cars. It was a popular post and I have always thought I should do a Part 2 of because there was just so much content out there. So friends that is what you are getting today!

Who were the Brox Sisters? They were an American trio of singing sisters (who began their career in Canada), enjoying their greatest popularity in the 1920s and early 1930s.

- The flamingo brooch on our young woman on the left. LOVE IT!!!!
- Saddle Shoes on the youngest daughter on the right.
- Everyone’s 1940s hairstyles (hello braid crown!).
- THE PUPPY!!! awwwwww!
- And of course their 1940s fashions (lovely dresses, coats and other accessories).

This photo was labelled 1950s but I believe it’s more early 1960s with the style of the amazing dress our gorgeous lady is wearing (but correct me if I am wrong!). Great eyeglasses too!

What a great reminder that, yes, we used to pose with our cars. They were a distinctive part of who we were as opposed to today’s bland transport vehicles. Wish I could attach one I think you’d like: 16-year-old me sitting on the hood of our 1958 Renault 4CV, photo taken by the college guy my mother hired to teach me how to drive a stick shift!

Thanks for the memories. Thinking of my uncle Frank and his hot rod Ford flathead v8. Great car.Overheated like crazy, but boy was it fun.Cars today are boring as Sunday School.
