This magazine (I think it’s less book & more mag) contained a collection of patterns and instructions for making beautiful tablecloths using crochet and tatting techniques. It also featured designs for various occasions and seasons, such as floral motifs, geometric shapes, and holiday themes.

The book was a popular resource for crafters who wanted to create their own table linens with style and elegance.

July 1950, Chatelaine Magazine-The Canadian Woman’s Magazine. Featured article inside, “I Don’t Like Babies”.

I picked this cover solely because of that article. I am childless woman by choice and while I do LOVE babies many people think I don’t because I don’t have one (which is not true. I like being an aunt better). So it made me giggle and hence why it’s here.
