When I first started my blog in 2012, I wrote a blog post called “I love Saddle Shoes” and it showcased some vintage ads and vintage images of people wearing those famous black and white shoes (and sometimes brown & white). It was not the most detailed post but it was still fun to do.
Over the years my research and my blogging techniques have gotten better and I have accumliated many vintage photos of people wearing saddles shoes that I would like to show you today for Vintage Photo Tuesday!

These photos are great reminders of how blessed we are to have grown up in that era!
I remember wearing saddle shoes in high school in the early 1960s. They went on to college with me too. You couldn’t seem to wear them out.
They are very durable I agree! I own a pair and I have had them for years.
Thanks for commenting Kathleen!
