So I have decided that this year for the Holiday’s I’m going to try to be more crafty. I want to fill my home and my life with things I have made, even if they look like they were created by a 2-year-old (I seriously am terrible with the technical side of things). I will try though and maybe even post some of my ventures here or on Instagram…maybe (see note above lol).

For todays post, I wanted to share some fun kitschy Christmas Craft ideas that I have found from other creators, that you can make this holiday season.

So lets get crafty friends!

My friend created these last year and I am madly in love with them and would love to recreate one for myself. Unfortunately this year I dropped the ball on it as I have no vintage Christmas decor to use, but I will start collecting for next year.

  1. This all reminds me of my mom’s house, filled to the hilt with campy, retro Christmas items, all around her all-white Christmas tree. Felt surely does give that vintage vibe. And of course, Martha Stewart makes EVERYTHING look gorgeous, so don’t feel bad if you can’t mimic her crafts perfectly. I couldn’t wait any longer; we bought a Christmas village over summer (all Coke) so I set them up on the mantle and cabinet tops, and now we can see the little town with the glowing amber light inside the windows, and it’s cute as all get out. That’s as crafty as I get, plugging those in and finding power strips for all the plugs. I hope you make some really neat stuff!

  2. These are so festively fun and fabulous! I love how doable they feel – in the sense of that one wouldn’t have to be a master craftsman (woman) or have Martha Stewart’s staff on hand to whip them up. Terrific seasonal list, lovely Liz. Thank you!

Big hugs & happy Christmas countdown wishes,

  3. Some lovely things to make here. I think lots of them wouldn’t be so hard to do. I love making felt Christmas decorations, I made gingerbread men and embroidered baubles last year.

  4. Yay! Crafts! This is awesome especially because I was just working on a holly brooch and felt it was missing something – that crease in the middle! Thanks Martha!

The skate is my favourite though. Everything about it – the soft pastel colours, the little pompoms – is so perfect.

    • Yay! I’m glad that that martha was able to help you out. Funny a friend of mine, said the crease was the most important and reminded me like 10 times about this lol!

The skate is so lovely, I agree πŸ™‚
