Well I am super bummed out now, I found my dream fascinator way to late. This would have been the perfect accessory for my outfit while I MC the event tomorrow night. Who does not love a flamingo on one’s head (a fake one of course lol)?

Having Tiki artwork on your walls is always a good way to instantly get that Tikified look and a good artist to look at for inspiration and images is the artist ‘Shag‘.

15 Comments on Time to get Tikified! Fun Tiki Items & Clothing!

  1. A great selection, Liz! I’ve never been to a tiki-themed event but they definitely have fun style and I love pineapples on things. I hope you have a wonderful time!

  2. Tiki is so fun! I just went in my son’s bedroom, and he has a big tiki mask hanging down by his door. I don’t think I could pull off wearing a flamingo on my head, but I’m glad someone can. Tomorrow we’re having a party, and I bought a pink tablecloth and pink flamingo plates and napkins. My family thinks I’m crazy, but who can’t feel better with flamingos on their plates?

    • I think it is totally awesome that you went the flamingo route for your party. My husband this weekend, wore pink flamingo shorts and shirt for the Tiki party πŸ™‚ Flamingos are the best!

Hope your party was a success πŸ™‚

      Liz

  3. Love, love, love Tiki! Hope you had a great time at the event. I’m jealous as I missed the Hukilau in Fort Lauderdale this year. That flamingo fascinator is amazing btw. Can’t wait to see your pix from the party πŸ™‚

  4. Awesome post! I really enjoy tiki fashions and decor, too. In a lot of ways, my first (firsthand) exposure to such was a cement (I think) statue of a Tiki figure that was in the backyard of an Edwardian house that we lived in for a little while when I was a child. It didn’t go with the home or the yard one bit, but as it had clearly been there for a few decades, my family just left it and it became a bit like a Polynesian lawn gnome for us.

I hope that you had a stellar time at this year’s event.

    Big hugs,
    β™₯ Jessica

  5. I try to comment on all your posts to tell you how much I love them, but the comments never show up on any of the posts. Anyway, I love the tiki; my son’s got some in his room. ??
