So many fantastic things to see at this birthday party or wedding shower, 1950s vintage photo. First up the 1950s Dresses..so cute! I also love the purse the lady in the white is holding (I own a similar one). Those chairs are fun too and of course all the cute 1950s hairstyles.

Hi Readers! We are digging right back into the collection of vintage magazines I received from a fellow collector recently. The first post in this gold mine of magazines series was entitled “A Vintage Magazine: McCall’s April 1943 Edition (go check it out after this post if you did not see it) and today’s post is featuring the Vintage Advertising from inside a May 1939 Better Homes & Gardens Magazine (seen below).

Let’s see what fun items were being advertised in May’s edition…….

Campbell’s soup has always been a staple in my home growing up and even today. I just love it and it’s probably because I am a HUGE soup fan. Now the choices for soup brands are endless, but Campbell’s seems to still be “The Pick of the Pantry” for my homes, even today. Not just in 1939 as per this vintage ad.
